Delivered by volunteers and funded mostly by donations, the Waka Ora Health Shuttle service connects thousands of New Zealanders with their important medical appointments.
They include the elderly, people with disabilities, and those managing serious conditions such as cancer and diabetes, that require multiple appointments. Many also live in remote or rural communities with limited public transport available.
Demand for this vital shuttle service is ever-increasing, along with the costs of keeping it on the road.
Right now, Hato Hone St John needs your help to purchase a new Waka Ora Health Shuttle and support running costs towards the nationwide fleet.
