Join St John at the start line of the ASB Auckland Marathon 2020, at 6:00 am on Sunday 1 November.

Become a St John Lifesaver and work together to raise important funds that will support our emergency ambulance service and community health programmes, to ensure St John can continue to save lives and be there for your community.

This year the programme is slightly different from previous years.

What we want you to do to become St John Lifesaver is choose your race, purchase your entry and create an Everyday Hero fundraising page – it’s that easy!

Create your everyday hero page by clicking “Join Team.”

To guarantee you have a spot into your chosen race, just visit the ASB Auckland Marathon website and purchase your event entry.

We are asking for you to purchase your own entry this year, This is so that the funds that you raise go directly into helping our ambulance officers and the delivery of our new community health services and the vital emergency equipment. Your help ensures that St John can continue be there for your community. If you hit your target of $1,000 (before the 27 October 2020) you can be reimbursed your entry costs.

Be sure to get the best deal for yourself by taking advantage of the super early bird from 18 February - 21 April.

The benefits you will receive as a St John Lifesaver when you raise the minimum of $1,000* include:

  • FREE St John Lifesavers t-shirt
  • CHEER SQUAD to keep you motivated while you race #squadgoals
  • Pre-meet event where you can meet with your team, and St John ambulance officers
  • Big Smoke BBQ meal voucher
  • Reimbursed ENTRY COSTS

FAQs

If I set up an online Everyday Hero fundraising page, am I automatically entered in the race?

Establishing an Everyday Hero fundraising page does not automatically enter you in the race. You will need to purchase your entry separately. You can purchase your entry here - opens Feb 18. Get in as early as you can to lower the price of entry.

I’m not sure I can run a full marathon. Do I have other race options?

Yes, you have plenty of race options to suit your fitness level. The ASB Auckland Marathon allows you to select from the full marathon (42km), half marathon (21kms), 11km traverse, or family marathon (5km). Don’t sweat it! Go at your pace and enjoy the race! Check out the course here.

How much does entry cost?

It really depends on which race you select and when you make your entry purchase. For more entry info click here.
